Amy L. Robinson, Psy.D. Amy L. Robinson, Psy.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Director of Creative Change. She has considerable experience in the full range of clinical presentations with specialties in marital and family therapy, the assessment and treatment of alcohol and drug abuse, consultation, and organizational development. She received her doctorate from the University of Denver in 1980. She was Secretary of the Illinois Psychological Association from 1986-1989. She is a founder of Creative Resolution, a divorce mediation practice in Cook, DuPage, and Kane counties. She has been on staff at many psychiatric hospitals, currently maintaining affiliations with Holy Family Hospital's Keys to Recovery and Alexian Brothers Hospital. In 2001, she was part of the Illinois Delegation of Mental Health Professionals who visited and consulted to mental health facilities in Beijing, Shanghai and Chongqing, China.

Wendy Kramer, M.A., M.S.W., L.C.S.W., A.T.R. Wendy Kramer, M.A., M.S.W., L.C.S.W., A.T.R. is a specialist in Couples Counseling, Hypnosis, Conflict Resolution, and Critical Incident Debriefing. Wendy helps clients with concerns including anxiety and depression, stress related symptoms, relationship and communication problems, eating disorders, parenting, life and career transitions, prolonged grief over loss, trauma, and anger management. She is an experienced Employee Assistance Professional, consultant and an expert seminar leader, able to tailor presentations to the specific needs of her audience. Wendy received her first masters degree from George Washington University in 1977, and as a Registered Art Therapist worked with child and family programs, as well as substance abuse clients for many years. In 1987, Wendy completed her M.S.W. at Loyola University of Chicago.

Brandi Johnson, M.A Brandi Johnson, M.A., L.C.P.C,earned a degree in counseling psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology where she specialized in marriage and family therapy. She has a range of experience providing services to adults, adolescents, children, couples and families. In her work with children, Brandi is able to employ the highly effective and specialized skills of art and play therapy. She has been exceptionally successful working with children and adolescents, promoting self-esteem, coping skills and teaching problem-solving and anti-bullying techniques. She has worked in public, private, hospital and school settings and has helped clients with a variety of concerns including: depression, crises, divorce, loss, anxiety, phobias, anger management, body image and self-esteem. Brandi has assisted families experiencing domestic violence and has facilitated parent education classes around the Chicagoland area.

Laurie Cox Laurie Cox, M.S., L.C.P.C., C.A.D.C. is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and Art Therapist.  She completed a dual Masters program from Illinois State University in Psychology (2000) and Art Therapy (1998), and is also a Licensed Massage Therapist.  She has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings and also has maintained a private practice in the Bloomington-Normal area since 2001, recently relocating to the Elgin area.  Her areas of specialization are trauma, sexual abuse, grief and loss, relationship issues, addictions, anxiety and mood disorders, stress management, and coping.  She is currently working towards her PhD in Health Psychology.

Sandy Sandra Diamond, M.Div.

Sometimes life’s most painful problems are, in truth, powerful spiritual growth opportunities that arise from grief, conflict, pain, confusion and the desire to become more balanced and aware when life situations demand it. Life problems raise the big questions and they call for new solutions. They are opportunities to garner support from compassionate sources. Sandy Diamond recently joined Creative Change as a counselor with a background in world religions and spirituality. She has a B.S. in Psychology from DePaul University, is ordained by the Association of Unity Churches (M. Div) and is also completing a Master's in Counseling Psychology. Sandy works with her clients on a sliding scale if needed.
